Passaron was an ancient city in the Greek Epirus . Its ruins are a few kilometers west of Ioannina .

Passaron was the central place of the Molossians . The core of the settlement was built around a Zeus sanctuary. In the 4th century the settlement was expanded to a 10 hectare city. The fortified acropolis is a bit older. The oldest architectural traces of the sanctuary date from the end of the 4th century. The foundations of a peripteral temple of the Ionic order and an altar were found.

The first excavations in Passaron were carried out in 1914 by D. Evangelides.
