The Passavet ( Belarusian пассавет , short form of пасялковы савет passjalkowy sawet ; German about settlement council ) is an administrative unit in a Rajon in Belarus . The name corresponds to the Russian Possoviet (поссовет) as an acronym for the name Posselkowy Soviet (Поселковый совет), which refers to an urban-type settlement (in Belarusian: Пасёлак гарадскога тыпу).
