Patatas alioli (also patatas aioli or Patatas Allioli ) is a potato dish of Spanish cuisine . It is mainly consumed as a tapa , but also as an accompaniment to grilled meat.

preparation

Traditionally, potatoes are boiled in salted water and cut into three to four centimeter pieces. Then the aioli made from olive oil , salt and garlic is mixed with the potatoes and often also chopped parsley . The patatas alioli are eaten cold. A variation are patatas bravas alioli ( deep-fried potatoes), which are served warm and with aioli instead of the usual hot red sauce.
