Patentbusch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Patentbusch is a district in the far north of the Lower Saxony city of Oldenburg (Oldenburg) and a suburb of Ofenerdiek .

Patentbusch is characterized on the one hand by the large business park of the same name, which stretches along Wilhelmshavener Heerstraße and is used by numerous companies in the tertiary sector (service industry). On the other hand, there are many local recreation areas in Patentbusch, such as the Swaartemoor Lake and the leafy walks around the forest cemetery. For many people in Oldenburg, Patentbusch is synonymous with the extensive residential area of Ostring , especially since the bus routes 322 and 324 of Oldenburger Verkehr und Wasser GmbH end there.

The fact that the boundaries between Ofenerdiek and Patentbusch are fluid is shown by the fact that it is not possible to clearly determine whether the busy Langenweg , which is very busy with car traffic due to its function as a motorway feeder to the Oldenburg- Etzhorn junction , is to Patentbusch or to Ofenerdiek is to be expected.
