Patience Drake rye sack

Patience Drake Roggensack (born July 7, 1940 in Joliet (Illinois) ) is an American lawyer. In 2005 she was elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court and in 2015 by the judges of the court to the chief justice of the court.

Life

Patience Drake Roggensack first studied biology at Drake University and then worked as a research assistant after receiving her bachelor's degree in 1962. She studied law at the University of Wisconsin and graduated in 1980. She served as a Madison attorney for 16 years before being elected a judge on an appeals court in Wisconsin in 1996. She was elected to the Supreme Court in 2003 and re-elected in 2013. On May 1, 2015, she was elected Chief Justice.

Roggensack is rated as a rather conservative lawyer.
