Patrick Diethelm

Patrick Diethelm (* 1964 in Altstätten ) is a Swiss chef . He is director of the culinary faculty of the DCT University Center - Switzerland.

Life

After completing his professional training as a chef, Diethelm continued his education and worked in well-known hotels and restaurants.

Chef Diethelm coached the Swiss Culinary Junior National Team and won the 2004 Olympic victory and 3 gold medals at the “Culinary Olympics” in Erfurt .

Patrick Diethelm was awarded the "Medal of Honor" by the Swiss Cooking Association in 2005. In 2007 he was elected Vice President of the Swiss Cooking Association. Also in 2007, Chef Diethelm organized the first SENAC - DCT Culinary Cup in São Paulo .

In 2009 he was elected an honorary member of the American Academy of Chefs by the American Culinary Federation. At the WACS Congress in Santiago de Chile in 2010, Chef Diethelm was elected the youngest honorary member of the WACS World Cooking Association.
