Patrick Matt

Patrick Matt (born April 4, 1969 in Mauren ) is a former cyclist from Liechtenstein and national cycling champion .

Athletic career

Matt, who competed for the Mauren cycling club , was the road race champion in the Principality of Liechtenstein in 1992 , but mostly competed in Switzerland. In 1988 he was a participant in the Summer Olympics in Seoul . In the street race he was eliminated, in the single pursuit he finished 18th in the qualifying round. He was also at the start at the 1992 games in Barcelona . He was 19th in the qualification of the single pursuit and 17th in the points race . In the games of the small states of Europe he took part several times in the 1990s and was also able to win medals in team competitions.

After his career, he was president of his association RV Mauren from 2005 to 2008 .
