Paul A. Kaufman (born December 2, 1964 in London , England) is an English-Canadian-American director , film producer , screenwriter , actor, and Emmy Award winner.

life and career

Paul A. Kaufman is a citizen of the United Kingdom, United States, and Canada. He studied acting at the Actors Studio, New York, and made his directorial debut in his long-cherished project Run the Wild Fields for Showtime , which received numerous critical awards, including an Emmy Award for Best Director. He has directed and produced 60 hours of television footage , including Tatort Bedroom (1995) and In the Footsteps of Batman (2003), and as a screenwriter has assisted on several scripts for these films.

He is a member of the Directors Guild of America , BAFTA , Writers Guild of America , Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Directors Guild of Canada, and Producers Guild of America, and is active in these associations. He has also received 9 awards and 13 nominations.
