Paul Blissett (* 1945 in Ottawa , Canada ) is a Canadian musician and producer.

Musical career

Paul Blissett was born and still lives in Ottawa, Ontario today. At the age of 16, he was already playing well-known melodies on the guitar in local pubs. As a lead guitarist , he then appeared in a few bands. In 2007 he presented his first solo album Fire and Soul , which already illustrates his musical philosophy: he chose the electric guitar to match the piece of music and took care of the accompaniment and the recording technology through to the final production. The musical influences range from rock 'n' roll to blues . In 2014 he was nominated at the Artists in Music Awards in the category "Best Blues Artist".

repertoire

Blissett mainly plays self-arranged cover versions of well-known pieces such as “Blueberry Hill”, “Apache” or “Silent Night” (“ Silent Night, Holy Night ”). The album Luna also included his own compositions for the first time: Shinky Blues, The Groove and the title track Luna.
