Jason Watkins
Jason Watkins (born October 28, 1966 in England ) is a British actor .
Life
Jason Watkins was born in Albrighton on October 28, 1966. He attended St Mary's Elementary School near Shaw Lane, where his mother Avis was a teacher; Jason Watkins' father was a metallurgist. When Jason Watkins was 9 years old, he moved to London with his parents. He completed his acting training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art . Jason Watkins was best known for his appearances in British television series. In Being Human he portrayed the vampire villain Herrick, in Dirk Gently the Detective Inspector Gilks and in Trolllied the main character Gavin. He also made an appearance on the British television series Doctor Who . In addition to various roles in film and television, Jason Watkins is a sought-after theater actor. He won several awards for his performance, including the Laurence Olivier Theater Award . He was able to take this home with him in 2000 and 2001 as best supporting actor for his role in A Servant for Two Masters at the Young Vic and New Ambassadors Theater. Jason Watkins is married with one daughter.
