Jason Watkins (born October 28, 1966 in England ) is a British actor .

Life

Jason Watkins was born in Albrighton on October 28, 1966. He attended St Mary's Elementary School near Shaw Lane, where his mother Avis was a teacher; Jason Watkins' father was a metallurgist. When Jason Watkins was 9 years old, he moved to London with his parents. He completed his acting training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art . Jason Watkins was best known for his appearances in British television series. In Being Human he portrayed the vampire villain Herrick, in Dirk Gently the Detective Inspector Gilks ​​and in Trolllied the main character Gavin. He also made an appearance on the British television series Doctor Who . In addition to various roles in film and television, Jason Watkins is a sought-after theater actor. He won several awards for his performance, including the Laurence Olivier Theater Award . He was able to take this home with him in 2000 and 2001 as best supporting actor for his role in A Servant for Two Masters at the Young Vic and New Ambassadors Theater.
