Paul De Ridder

Paul De Ridder (born August 20, 1948 in Ukkel ) is a Belgian historian and politician.

Career

De Ridder studied history in Antwerp and Ghent . In the 2009 elections to the Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Parlement , he headed the list of the Nieuw-Vlaamse Alliantie (N-VA). His party received 4.99% of the vote, he was elected with 710 preferential votes. Since then he has been chairman of the one-member N-VA group in the Brussels Parliament.
