Paul Gravett is a British journalist , author, curator and broadcaster who has worked in comics journalism since 1981.

Paul Gravett has been a comics journalist since the early 1980s, writing for The Guardian , Blueprint , The Comics Journal , Comics International and Dazed & Confused , among others . He was the editor of the comic magazine Pssst! and escape . He also curates exhibitions on comics and wrote a number of specialist books or worked on them as editor. The most important exhibitions included an exhibition on the history of English comics at the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême and the annual comics exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Arts . In 1992 he became chairman of the Cartoon Art Trust.
