Paul Johnson (badminton)
Paul Johnson (born around 1955 ) is a Canadian badminton player .
Career
Paul Johnson was Canadian champion in 1980 in mixed with Claire Backhouse and in men's doubles with David deBelle . At the following World Championship he was fifth in mixed doubles with Backhouse. In the individual, however, he was eliminated in round one. At the 1983 World Cup he was both 17th in doubles and 17th in mixed. He achieved his greatest success with silver in doubles at the 1982 Commonwealth Games.
