Paul Lereim

Paul Jostein Lereim (born September 15, 1938 ) is professor of orthopedics at the University of Oslo .

Paul Lereim comes from a priestly family. He studied medicine in Innsbruck and Kiel and was then the last director of the special orthopedic hospital Sophies Minde in Oslo . Paul Lereim is one of the surgical-orthopedic pioneers in Norway and known for the most difficult knee and hip replacement operations.

  • Relationship between morphologic features and hardness of the subchondral bone of the medial tibial condyle in the normal state and in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. (1975)
