Paul Manning (born December 3, 1959 in Madison , Wisconsin , USA , † January 2, 2005 in Sherman Oaks , California , USA) was an American screenwriter and film producer .

Live and act

Manning was mainly known in the United States for the two television series L.A. Law and Emergency Room , he not only wrote numerous episodes of them, but also produced most of them.

Manning had two children with his wife, Rebeca Medina.

He died of colon cancer a month after his 45th birthday . The 233rd episode of Emergency Room was dedicated to him (US title: Skin ; German title: Unter die Haut ).

Awards

Paul Manning was nominated three times, from 1995 to 1997, for an Emmy , of which one, in 1996, was awarded for his work on "Emergency Room".
