Paul Riffel

Paul Riffel (born November 24, 1901 , † November 8, 1975 ) was a German manager and association official.

Life

Paul Riffel studied business administration and economics after completing a commercial apprenticeship. In 1930 he was with the work of the economic development of the city Bruchsal from 1690 to the present day for Dr. rer. pole. PhD. From 1933 he worked for Dyckerhoff Zementwerke AG in Wiesbaden; until 1971 member of the board of directors, then member of the supervisory board of Dyckerhoff AG . He was President of the Association of Hessian Employers 'Associations ( VhU) and a member of the Presidium of the Federal Association of German Employers' Associations (BDA). Riffel was a co-founder of the stone and earth employers' association for the state of Hessen eV

In 1960 he was appointed Knight of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Eugène Tisserant and invested on September 11, 1960 by Lorenz Cardinal Jaeger , Grand Prior of the Order.

In 1967 he was honored with the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany .
