Paula Turk

Paula Türk (born October 2, 1881 in Ortelsburg , † after 1922) was a German chemist and politician ( SPD ).

Life

The Dr. phil. PhD chemist Paula Türk was the head of a chemistry school for women in Berlin . From 1921 she worked as a private teacher.

Türk joined the Social Democrats and was a member of the Prussian State Constitutional Assembly from 1920 to 1921 . She was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament in 1921 , but left parliament in 1922 after she was not confirmed in the by-election in Upper Silesia.
