Pauline Carton
Pauline Carton , born Pauline Aimée Biarez (born July 4, 1884 in Biarritz , † June 15, 1974 in Paris ) was a French actress .
Life
She played theater for a long time before taking on regular film roles in the 1920s. Carton became a busy supporting actress who embodied simple women from the people, for example as a maid, housekeeper, caretaker or cleaner.
She was particularly often in front of the camera in productions by Sacha Guitry . Occasionally she was given bigger tasks, for example she was seen in Jean Cocteau's Life for Two in 1958 in the leading role of Madame Vattier.
