Paulo Diogo (* 21st April 1975 in Crissier ) is a Swiss footballer of Portuguese origin. He played for FC Lausanne-Sport , Yverdon-Sport FC and Servette FC Genève .

Diogo achieved dubious fame when he jumped on the fence on December 5, 2004 in an away game with Servette FC Genève against FC Schaffhausen and wedged his ring finger in the fence while climbing down. Diogo, who had only recently married, did not notice this. As he jumped off the fence, he tore off two limbs of his finger. He had just prepared the 3-1. Referee Etter pulled out the yellow card for the exaggerated goal celebration.
