Paulo Lourenço Martins Alves (born December 10, 1969 in Vila Real , Portugal ) is a former Portuguese football player. Between 1994 and 1996, the striker played 13 international matches for the Portuguese national soccer team , scoring eight goals.

He currently works as a sports manager for the club Gil Vicente FC in the Portuguese Primeira Liga , with whom he was promoted from the Liga de Honra in the 2010/2011 season .
