Pavel Pavlovich Borodin
Pawel Pavlovich Borodin ( Russian Павел Павлович Бородин ; born October 25, 1946 in Shachunja ) is a Russian politician .
From 1993 to 2000 he was head of the real estate management of the Russian President , from 2000 to 2011 Secretary General of the Russian-Belarusian Union .
In April 2001 he was arrested on charges of money laundering while entering the USA and extradited to Switzerland, where he was briefly detained in Champ-Dollon prison. He was allowed to leave Switzerland after making a deposit of 3 million US dollars.
