Die Drei vom Pfandhaus (original title: Pawn Stars ) is an American reality TV series that is broadcast on the History Channel in both the USA and Germany . The location of the series is the pawn shop Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas of Rick Harrison , his father Richard and his son Corey .

Three generations work together for the Harrisons: Richard Harrison, his son Rick and his son Corey. They are "the three from the pawnshop" who are confronted with all kinds of strange objects in their shop in Las Vegas. Sometimes it is immediately obvious that you are being offered a real rarity, other items, on the other hand, require all your expertise, because it takes a trained eye to discover the treasures among the mass of articles that snow into your home every day.

Rick Harrison : He and his father Richard have been running the pawn shop in Las Vegas since 1988. He has a great personal fondness for rock music memorabilia.
Richard Benjamin Harrison : Richard Harrison (1941-2018) started the business with his son Rick in 1988. He is called the "Old Man" and is known for his little naps during work hours.
Corey Harrison : Called "Big Hoss", is the son of Rick and the grandson of the "Old Man". Even as a child he hung around the store. One day he should take over the management.
Austin Russel : Called "Chumlee", he's Corey's buddy and also works at the pawn shop. He's not particularly clever, but with his adorable quirky manner he's always good for a laugh.

- The store is located on Las Vegas Boulevard at the intersection of Gass Avenue
- Actually, Chumlee shouldn't appear in the series at all. But Corey kept bringing him back and the producers loved him.
- The green Jim Morrison painting you see on one wall of the store was done by Denny Dent .
- Three of the specialists who are repeatedly called in on the show have their own spin-offs: Rick Dale with Rick the restorer , Danny Coker with Die Werkstatt-Helden, and Sean Rich with Lords of War .
- The 2009-2013 seasons still have the original intro sequence. An instrumental by Lynyrd Skynyrd will be used from mid-2013 .
- The pawn shop's official slogan is "Make Rick Money!"
