Peavey 5150

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Peavey 5150 is a guitar amplifier and was developed in collaboration between the Peavey company and Eddie Van Halen . Part of this series are the 120 W top in 2 versions (5150 Mk I and 5150 Mk II), a combo and 2 different 4X12 boxes.

The 5150 is a 2-channel tube amplifier with 120 W. The amplifier can be controlled with a foot switch, which can be used to switch between the two channels and to switch the effects loop on and off.

After the endorsement contract with Eddie van Halen, Peavey was no longer allowed to sell the 5150 under this name. The successor is the 6505, which is identical to the 5150 series.
