Pechanec von Kralowitz (Czech Pechanec z Kralovic ) was an old Bohemian noble family who had a goose in their coat of arms.

Personalities

Pechanec (also Peter), ancestor of the family, lived in Prague in 1400. Jakob († 1497), Lord of Kralowitz near Aurinowes, was the first of the family to be awarded the title of ruler. In 1491 he made rich donations to the Prague Church of St. Castulus , where the family grave was also located. He acquired some farms near Schlan , to which his son Johann († 1532) bought more.

His wife Martha von Besdiekau acquired Sluštice in 1519 . Of their sons Georg, Matthias and Burian, only the latter two came of age.

Matthias bought Chřenice and in 1558 Květnice while Burian was still alive . Matthias died in 1568 without heirs and bequeathed his property to his uncle , Nikolaus Skalský von Dauba , and his wife. Burian also died without an heir. His wife Anna brought four sons and two daughters into the marriage, but these were not entitled to inheritance and were not mentioned later. After his death in 1567, his fortune fell to the king, who sold it to Nikolaus Skalský von Dauba in 1575.
