history

Church of St. Jakub the Elder

Sluštice was first mentioned in 1223 when Miztidruch de Zluscic was mentioned. At that time the village already had a parish church and a fortress. In 1332 the land belonged to the Prague citizen Fridolin Rost, then from 1357 to 1366 to his brother Donat Rost. Since 1380 Sluštice belonged to the citizen of Prague's old town Matěj od Věže, but the patronage right to the church was exercised by the brothers Andreas and Martin Stachov from the Prague old town , then from 1400 to 1405 by the brothers Nikolaus Mikuláš Ortlin (Ortlinovic) and Rudolf Rudolf von Mulhouse who gave their shares to Reinhard von Mülhausen in 1407. This already wrote "ze Sluštic".

Many documents have survived about Reinhard ze Sluštic. In 1416 he sold the rent of the fortress and the associated lands to Reinhard von Remeš. In 1423 Reinhard then bought Hradenín from the daughter of his older brother. He probably died in 1437. He was married to Machna von Horka, with whom he had five daughters. After his death, the widow Jan z Čepě married. He died before 1460 and Machna married again, this time Nikolaus Daksa von Hammerstein. After 1460 Jan Ledecký z Říčan held the village, who in 1473 sold it to the Prague citizens Křížik from Prague's Old Town and Jílka Rybov, bell ringer in Prague New Town .

One of his descendants were Anna, wife of Sigismund Roh von Vlkanov and Johanna von Sluštice, married Čermákova. Roh sold the lands to Marta Pechancová von Besdiekau in 1519. At this point the fortress was already deserted, the village was administered from Kralowitz and the castle fell into disrepair. In 1563 Matthias Pechancov von Kralowitz owned the property, which he bequeathed to Nikolaus Skalský von Dauba and his wife Margarethe von Frejskut in 1568 without leaving any heirs of his own. Hermann and Johann Georg renovated the castle from their descendants in 1597. Hermann left his share to Hans Georg, who bequeathed it to Nikolaus Skalský von Dauba. After the Battle of White Mountain , his property, which also belonged to the brewery and village of Sluštice and Třebohostice, was confiscated and sold to Prince Karl von Liechtenstein . The place was now closely linked to the fate of this family. When the castle finally fell is no longer traceable.
