history
The oldest part of the municipality is Cvrčovice, which was first mentioned in 1352 under the name Swryczouicz as a spiritual property of the canon of St. Egidius on the Vyšehrad . The existence of Kostomlátky has been documented since 1382.
Podolanka originated in the middle of the 17th century. The first written report about the settlement consisting of a Kretscham and two mills belonging to the Jenštejn farm comes from 1658. In 1664 Jan Anton Losy von Losinthal acquired one of the two mills. After buying the others, Losy bought the settlement from the royal lordship of Brandýs nad Labem and gave it to his lordship in Ctěnice . Cvrčovice and Kostomlátky were subject to the Vinoř rule until 1848. In 1843 Kostomlátky consisted of 34 houses and had 235 inhabitants, in Cvrčovice there were 10 houses with 67 inhabitants and in the five houses in Podolánky 35 people lived.
After the abolition of patrimonial rule, the municipality of Cvrčovice with the districts Podolánky and Kostomlátky was established in 1850 , which belonged to the Karlín district and from 1906 to the Brandýs nad Labem district. After the establishment of Czechoslovakia, the municipality was named Cvrčovice, Kostomlátky a Podolánka . In 1948 it was renamed Podolánka and since 1950 the municipality has been called Podolanka . During this time Cvrčovice and Kostomlátky lost their status as districts. Podolanka has belonged to Okres Praha-východ since 1961. In the 1960s and 1970s, the Prague - Brandýs road race ran through the municipality. The locations Podolanka and Kostomlátky have grown together into one unit.

No districts are designated for the municipality of Podolanka. The settlement of Cvrčovice ( Czwrtschowitz , 1939-1945: Grillendorf ) and the location Kostomlátky ( Kostomlatek ) belong to Podolanka .
