Nová Ves (German Neudorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located five kilometers south of Neratovice and belongs to the Okres Praha-východ .
geography
Nová Ves is to the left of the Elbe on the Bohemian Table . The place is located on the Zlonínský potok above the tributary of the Měšický potok. The railway line from Čelákovice to Neratovice passes to the east.
Neighboring towns are Čakovičky in the north, Jiřice in the northeast, Kostelec nad Labem in the east, Mratín in the southeast, Měšice in the south, Zlonín in the west and Kojetice in the northwest.
history
The village was first mentioned in writing in 1455.
After the abolition of patrimonial rule, the municipality of Nová Ves , belonging to the Karlín district, was established in 1850 . In 1906 the municipality was incorporated into the Brandýs nad Labem District. Since 1961 it belongs to the Okres Praha-východ.
