Odolena Voda (German Odolenswasser ) is a city in the Czech Republic . It is located 16 kilometers north of Prague and belongs to the Okres Praha-východ .
geography
The city is located in the headwaters of the Odolenský potok on a plateau to the right of the Vltava valley . The route of the D8 motorway leads past the south-western outskirts of the city , the next exit is at Úžice . State road 522 from Postřižín to Chlumín runs through Odolena Voda . The area of the military aircraft manufacturer Aero Vodochody is located southwest of the city .
Neighboring towns are Kopeč and Netřeba in the north, Korycany in the north-east, Veliká Ves , Předboj and Čenkov in the east, Dolínek and Panenské Břežany in the south-east, Klíčany , Hoštice and Vodochody in the south, Postřižín and Kozomín in the west, and Úžice in the north-west.
