Pedanius
Pedanius ( gens Pedania ) was the gentile name of the Roman family of Pedanians, who flourished especially during the imperial era . Members of the family were:
- Titus Pedanius , Roman general in the Punic War, 3rd century BC. Chr.
- Publius Pedanius Costa , member of the council of war of Pompeius Strabo, 1st century BC Chr.
- Pedanius Costa , legate of Marcus Brutus, 1st century BC BC, perhaps son of the latter
- Lucius Pedanius Secundus († 61), Roman politician, suffect consul 43
- Gnaeus Pedanius Fuscus Salinator (Consul 61) , Roman suffect consul
- Gnaeus Pedanius Fuscus Salinator (Proconsul) , suffect consul shortly after 80 and Proconsul from Asia 98/99
- Gnaeus Pedanius Fuscus Salinator (Consul 118) , Roman politician and senator
- Gnaeus Pedanius Fuscus Salinator (Conspirator) , participant in a conspiracy against the Roman throne
