Pedro Aguilar (born July 21, 1960 in Madrid ) is a former Spanish football player .

Career

The midfielder Pedro Aguilar grew up in Spain and later moved with his family to the Ruhr area . As a teenager he played for FC Schalke 04 before moving up to the amateur team as an adult. In the summer of 1982 Aguilar switched to TuS Schloß Neuhaus from Paderborn , which had just been promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . He made his second division debut on August 7, 1982 in the 2-0 defeat of Neuhäuser against SV Waldhof Mannheim . At the end of the season, Aguilar and his team were relegated to the Oberliga Westfalen and twice missed promotion. In the summer of 1985 Aguilar then moved to KSV Hessen Kassel , with whom he was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga in 1987. Pedro Aguilar played 90 second division appearances in which he scored six goals. Of these, 27 games and two goals were played at Neuhaus Castle and 63 games and four goals were played in Kassel.
