Hohensaaten-Finow gauge

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hohensaaten-Finow gauge is a water level . It is operated by the Eberswalde Waterways and Shipping Office. The water level, discharge and water temperature are measured at the level. It is located on the left bank of the Oder . The level is about 1 km south of the village of Hohensaaten near Oder-km 664.95.

Basic level data

Measuring point no .: 60308.0
Catchment area: 109,564 km²
Level zero point: +0.155 m above sea level NN

Main hydrological values

The specified water levels refer to the statistical series 1951/2003.

NNW = 84 cm (first on September 11, 1921)
NW = 143 cm
MNW = 208 cm
MW = 331 cm
MHW = 533 cm
HW = 746 cm
HHW = 778 cm on March 21, 1940

Statistical flood probabilities

The given probabilities relate to the year series 1901/1997. The following values indicate a flood, which statistically occurs every x years. The values in brackets apply to events without ice.

HW 2 = 535 cm (505 cm)
HW 5 = 615 cm (590 cm)
HW 10 = 660 cm (630 cm)
HW 20 = 695 cm (665 cm)
HW 50 = 735 cm (700 cm)
HW 100 = 760 cm (720 cm) ( flood of the century )
HW 200 = 780 cm (735 cm)
HW 500 = 810 cm (755 cm)
