Pegelstoof , also Visierstoof , was a volume measure in Liefland . Liefland is a historical landscape in the Baltic States , which today includes Estonia and Latvia . The measurements were valid until 1845 and were then replaced by Russian measures and weights in the Baltic provinces. The basis was the fabric . The new Rigaer Visierstoof had 1.27527 liters and was divided roughly as follows:

  • 1 1/5 Rigaer Stoof = 1.53 liters
  • 1 fabric = 1/2 cans = 4 quarters

In Sweden the old Stop / Stoof had 4 Qvarter with a total of 1.3086 liters The Russian measure of Stof for liquids was 1/8 Wedro or 1.5374 liters

  • Ratio of old (since 1745) and new fabric (introduced in 1833) = 1.3053 liters: 1.2752 liters
  • 1 level shock / visor material = 175 material (new) = 1.5303 liters corresponds to 1.2442 Kruschki (Russian)
  • 412 Level Stoof = 1 ton of hard coal (rigaer) = 494.4 Stoof (new) = 31,784 Parisian cubic inches = 6.3048 hectoliters corresponds to 3.0037 Cheet value
  • 100 water level = 120 material (new) = 1 barrel (brandy)
  • 87 ½ water level = 105 stoof (new) = 1 ton (Rigaer Brautonne ) = 6750.2 Parisian cubic inches = 133.9 liters
  • 75 water level = 90 stoof (new) = 1 ton ( mitauer beer ton ) = 5785.9 Parisian cubic inches = 114.77 liters
