Pellenc is a French manufacturer of cordless shears as well as harvesting and cutting machines for wine , fruit and olive growing based in Pertuis in the Vaucluse department .

history

1974 Roger Pellenc manufactures the first leaf cutter ( French écimeuse à barre de coupe ) for viticulture. Pre-cutting devices ( prétailleuse ) have been produced since 1983, cordless shears since 1987 and grape harvesting machines since 1993. From 2011, the Luxembourg financial investor Edify gradually took over the company (from 2014 in its majority ownership).
