Peng Meng

Peng Meng ( Chinese  彭 蒙 , Pinyin Péng Méng ) was a Chinese philosopher from the Warring States Period . He was a member of the Jixia Academy ( Chinese  稷下 學 宮 , Pinyin Jìxià xúegōng ) in the ancient state of Qi , the spiritual center of the Chinese world at that time.

He was the teacher of Tian Pian ( Chinese  田 骈 , Pinyin Tián Pián ) and an early representative of the legalists , one of the nine currents of the pre-Qin period .
