Pennocrucium was a Roman city in Britain .

Pennocrucium was located at what is now Water Eaton in southern Staffordshire , 12 miles from the port city of Uxacona . The important Roman road Watling Street ran through Pennocrucium from England to the north-west.

history

Pennocrucium was built in the 2nd century AD. The city was a major transportation hub on Watling Street.

This city is mentioned in the Antonini Itinerary .
