The PIG pension fund (pension fund for industry and commerce), based in Winterthur, is a small pension fund that operates primarily in the Winterthur region.

At the end of 2008, 66 companies with a total of 253 insured persons were affiliated to the pension fund, of which 239 were active insured persons and 14 were pensioners . The balance sheet total was CHF 23.544 million. The 5.2 million francs in contributions and entry benefits were set against benefits and early withdrawals of 4.8 million francs in 2008.

The pension fund was founded in July 1983 by various companies in the Winterthur region with a view to the introduction of the Occupational Pensions Act ( three-pillar system ). In 2000, the Rewil pension fund from Wil was taken over by the PIG.
