People's Insurance Company of China ( PICC ) is a Chinese company headquartered in Beijing . The company is the largest Chinese insurance company in China and offers various types of insurance for its customers. The company was founded in 1949.

At the end of December 2015, Deutsche Bank announced that it would sell its 19.99% stake in Hua Xia Bank to PICC.
