The Peribleptos Monastery (Greek Μονή Παναγίας Περιβλέπτου , Monastery of the Most Venerated Most Holy [Mother of God] ) was a Greek Orthodox monastery in Mystras in Greece . It was probably built in the 14th century and was partially carved into a rock grotto ( Demeter cave ). It was disbanded in the 15th century after the Ottoman conquest.

In the monastery church there are frescoes from the period between 1348 and 1380, which are among the rare examples of late Byzantine art in Greece.

There were also Peribleptos monasteries in Constantinople and Thessaloniki .
