The KK LIXIL Group ( Japanese 株式会社 LIXIL グ ル ー プ , Kabushiki kaisha Lixil Gurūpu , English LIXIL Group Corporation ) is the holding company of an internationally active Japanese building materials group based in Tokyo. It manages 232 subsidiaries, including a. the KK LIXIL.

history

The holding company was renamed from JS Group Corporation to Lixil Group Corporation in 2012 to emphasize the relationship to the better-known subsidiaries.

In September 2013, the planned takeover of German competitor Grohe was announced. The takeover was completed in 2015.

Foundation, endowment

The LIXIL JS Foundation sponsors an annual architecture competition at universities (LIXIL International University Competition) to promote sustainable building technology.
