Perry Ferguson (film architect, 1938)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Perry Feild Ferguson (born January 15, 1938 in Los Angeles , United States ) is a now inactive, American film architect and production designer for television.

Live and act

The son of the film architect of the same name Perry Ferguson came into the film industry through his father and learned the craft of a film architect and production designer while working on television from scratch. At the age of 30 he started as chief designer at the long-lived Doris Day Show and then began, in 1973, to work as a film architect for the cinema (the Blaxploitation - B-film Coffy - the big cat ). Ferguson was only active in this industry for a few years and switched between film and television in his work. Most recently, he designed the buildings for two Disney productions ( Zotti, the Urviech and The Great Beetle in the Monte Carlo Rally ), after which Ferguson's trail is lost.
