Persona Service , proper spelling persona service , is a personnel service provider in Germany . The company has over 200 branches nationwide and currently around 19,000 employees. In 2018 the family company achieved sales of 849.8 million euros. The Lünendonk list for leading temporary employment and personnel service companies in Germany ranks the company in 4th place in 2018.
Company history
persona service was founded in 1967 by Brigitta and Werner Müller in Hagen , Westphalia. After the passing of the Temporary Employment Act in 1972, persona service was the first company in the Federal Republic of Germany to receive unlimited permission for temporary employment in 1975 .
For its tenth anniversary, the company had 15 branches, after 25 years there were 50, and in 2002 the 100th branch was opened.
After the employment offices' monopoly on placement came down in 1994, placement of staff began in the same year. All branches and the central administration throughout Germany have been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1996 .
The first branch outside Germany was opened in Basel in 2002 .
Collective agreement
After changing the Temporary Employment Act as part of the Hartz concept in 2003, persona service introduced the collective bargaining agreement of the DGB / iGZ eV; it has been used in the company to date.
Industry surcharges
At the end of 2012 / beginning of 2013, so-called sector surcharges were introduced in central sectors of German industry (including metal / electronics, chemicals, food / beverages and others) ; These surcharges on the hourly wage of temporary workers based on the duration of the assignment mark a further step on the way to equal treatment / equal treatment of temporary workers and the employees of the rental companies and have been implemented by the company since November 2012.
