IGZ - Association of German Temporary Employment Agencies
The iGZ - Association of German Temporary Employment Companies e. V. is an employers' association of German temporary employment agencies and was founded in Münster in 1998 . As the employers' association in the temporary employment industry with the largest number of members, it represents the interests of over 3,600 member companies.
Christian Baumann has been the chairman since April 2017. The federal office is in Münster, there is also an office in Berlin.
The association signed a collective agreement for temporary work for the first time in 2004 with the collective bargaining collective for temporary work of the individual trade unions at the German Federation of Trade Unions . The current collective wage agreement has been in effect since January 1, 2017 and can be canceled on December 31, 2019 at the earliest. Until then, the collective minimum wages for temporary work (EG1 = activities that require operational training) will rise to € 9.96.
The iGZ sees itself as an association for small and medium-sized temporary employment agencies. It has adopted a binding code of ethics for the member companies, which is monitored by the independent contact and arbitration body, subject to sanctions.
