The Pestalozzi Rechtsanwälte AG (until February 2010: Pestalozzi Lachenal Patry Zurich AG ) is one of the oldest and most prestigious Swiss business law firms . It is based in Zurich and has a second Swiss location in Geneva .
history
The law firm was founded in 1911 by J. Henggeler. Over time, under the leadership of Anton Pestalozzi and Paul Gmür, it grew into a law firm with over 40 lawyers in the 1980s. In 1992 Pestalozzi & Gmür merged with the Geneva law firm Patry, Junet, Simon & Le Fort and in 2001, one of the oldest law firms in Geneva. Lachenal, Brechbuhl, Cottier and Roguet also joined.
Was 2008, in the form of a general partnership organized and operating under the name "Bollmann, Walter, Pestalozzi, Jordi, Ramstein, Furter, Zimmermann, Hoehn, Niggli, Roos, Bauer-Balmelli, Kramer, Klöti, Long, Müller, Rölli & Rohner" Law firm converted into a stock corporation with the name “Pestalozzi Lachenal Patry Zürich AG”. In 2010 the firm with 150 employees was renamed Pestalozzi Rechtsanwälte AG. In 2010 the Geneva and Brussels branches parted ways with Pestalozzi and have since operated as an independent law firm under the name of Lachenal & Le Fort . Pestalozzi has since had a new office in Geneva.
