José Arismendy "Petán" Trujillo Molina (born October 4, 1895 , † May 6, 1969 ) was a Dominican general and broadcasting director.

Petán Trujillo was a brother of the Dominican dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo Molina . In 1943 he founded the La Voz de Yuna radio station in Bonao, one of the first in Latin America . In 1947 the station moved to Santo Domingo. It was expanded into a television station, which in 1952 broadcast the humorous program Romance Campesino as its first program . In 1953 the radio and television station was renamed La Voz Dominicana .

The work of General Trujillo, who never held a real military function, was accompanied by countless scandals. He was accused of sexual violence, extortion and land grabbing. In Molina he acted in the manner of feudal lords and exercised vigilante justice. After the Trujillo clan was ousted, La Voz Dominicana was confiscated in 1962 and transferred to state property.
