from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pete Peters (* before 1960) is an American rockabilly musician.

Peters recorded his first two records at P&J Records in Virginia . In 1960 he moved to Dixie Records , where he recorded a rockabilly version of Rollin 'In My Sweet Baby's Arms , which he called Rockin' N 'My Sweet Baby's Arms . The single was released in May and was recorded with a banjo , which on the one hand continued to be associated with bluegrass , on the other hand was clearly rockabilly in nature. Peters also recorded a cover of Red Wing for Dixie (also with a banjo). In 1961, in May, Peter's last record, Rocking Banjo, was released on Lance Records.
