Peter Berg (born January 7, 1955 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Berg played in the youth team of Kickers Offenbach , with whom he won the runner - up title at the German A-youth championship in 1973 and fourth place in 1974 . The Hessen championship was celebrated both times. In the 1973/74 season he made the leap to the professional team. Under coach Gyula Lóránt , he made his debut on matchday 26 in the away game against MSV Duisburg . He remained part of the team until relegation in the 1975/76 season , but did not come out on the role of supplementary player. In the second division, in which he played for the next four years, Berg was a permanent member of the OFC. Due to an injury, he ended his career at the age of 25 with the Offenbachers.
