Peter Bilik

Peter Bilik is a former Austrian basketball player .

career

Bilik was part of the UBSC Vienna team, which determined basketball events in Austria in the 1970s and early 1980s, won national championships in a row and was also represented in the European Cup. With the Austrian national team, Bilik rose from group C to group A in 1977, and in September 1977 he took part in the European Championship in Belgium with the ÖBV  team, where he scored an average of 17.2 points per encounter in five tournaments. This made Bilik the second best Austrian in this statistical category after Erich Tecka . In May 1980 he was one of Austria's selection that competed in the elimination tournament for the Summer Olympics. He achieved an average of 9.5 points in four games.
