Peter Brannath
Peter Brannath (born August 13, 1960 in Ehrenstein ) is a German writer .
Life
Brannath was born in 1960 as the ninth of twelve children. After graduating from high school, he completed an engineering degree in wood technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim . Since 1991 he has lived and worked in the Breisgau / Alsace area .
In 2005, Schillinger Verlag Freiburg published his first crime novel with the title character Hauptkommissar Seebacher. The novels in this series are characterized by their close ties to Freiburg and Alsace, but do not require any special local knowledge. In 2011 he published his first historical novel , "The Aqueduct", in which the fictional history of the creation of the Pont du Gard is described.
