Peter Ebenbauer

Peter Ebenbauer (* 1966 ) is an Austrian liturgical scholar.

Life

From 1984 to 1990 he studied specialist theology at the Catholic Theolological Faculty of the University of Graz , with a year abroad in Munich. Since October 2018 he has headed the Institute for Liturgical Studies, Christian Art and Hymnology at the University of Graz.

His scientific work focuses on liturgy and prayer in Judeo-Christian differentiation processes, theology of liturgy / theological aesthetics, liturgy and music / hymnology as well as liturgy in the context of new ritual cultures.
