Peter Fasching (medical doctor)
Peter Fasching (* 1963 in Melk ) is an Austrian qualified internist .
Life
Peter Fasching received his doctorate in 1987 from the University of Vienna . After three years as an assistant at the University Hospital Vienna, Fasching became a specialist in internal medicine.
He is head of the 5th Medical Department for Rheumatology, Metabolic Diseases and Rehabilitation at the Vienna Wilhelminenspital . Fasching is editor-in-chief of the magazine Universum Innere Medizin of the Austrian Society for Internal Medicine. Fasching is also a board member of the Austrian Society for Geriatrics, the Austrian Working Group for Clinical Nutrition and the Austrian Diabetes Society.
